![]() Carlo Di Nunzio was born in Sommerville, New Jersey, in 1956. The son of Italian immigrants, Di Nunzio was raised in Toronto, Canada, where he developed a passion for architecture and studied at Ryerson Polytechnical University. In 1980, Di Nunzio moved to Houston, Texas, to expand his career. He formed Synectics Group Architecture in 1995 and recently changed the name of the firm to "Di Nunzio - Architect." Maintaining a unique and diverse portfolio, Di Nunzio is challenged to design solutions for his clients that are socially conscious and value-minded, while anticipating the changing needs of the end user. Di Nunzio's architecture and interior design portfolio includes projects such as Joan Vass, Deutsch and Deutsch Jewelers, Sur la Table, Travis Café, Inwood Forest Country Club, Monument Inn Restaurant, Ruggles Grille, Tony Ruppes, Il Palazzo, Custom Residential projects in the Four Leaf Tower high rise condominium and custom residences in Tanglewood, Memorial Park and Lake Conroe. Di Nunzio's current projects include The Tanglewood Condominium Lofts, Venti Luxury European Condominium, British Airways First Class Lounge at Houston Intercontinental Airport, two custom residences, two office buildings, a nightclub and an interior finish-out to Memorial Herman Northwest Hospital.
