Retail center being built
A group led by Jim Wallace of Houston is
developing a retail center at Westheimer and Gessner Road in west Houston.
The 10,000-square-foot project will be completed later this year. The
center will be called the Woodlake Collection , Wallace said. The shopping
center was designed by Vanderwal Architects.
Wallace is developing the center in partnership with Silicon Valley Diversified,
a Los Gatos, Calif.-based real estate investment firm.
Wallace, Silicon Valley Diversified and Houston businessman Steven Halpin
have teamed up to develop a residential tower near Fountainview and San
Felipe. The tower, called The Tanglewood, will be a midrise loft with
62 condominiums
